Cummings Foundation Awards BGCL $500K Grant

The Boys & Girls Club of Lynn is proud to announce we have been awarded a $500,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation! This grant will extend over the next ten years & will allow us to continue the STEAM Dream initiative! STEAM refers to science, technology, engineering, & mathematics practices! These funds will enable us to enhance our technology for our STEAM lab and also to support STEAM staffing to further recruit pre-teens & teens into becoming active participants in our STEAM focused enrichments.

This transformative grant represents a tremendous vote of confidence in our mission to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. The Cummings Foundation's commitment to supporting youth development in our community demonstrates their belief in the power of STEAM education to transform lives. With this investment, we will be able to expand our lab facilities, purchase cutting-edge equipment, and create more engaging hands-on learning experiences for our members. Our dedicated STEAM educators will have the resources they need to mentor students through real-world projects that spark creativity and critical thinking skills.
