2026 Youth of the Year

Danielys is a 17-year-old junior at Lynn Classical High School and a dedicated member of the Boys & Girls Club of Lynn for the past five years. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a life-changing experience, as the Club became her second home—a place filled with support, laughter, and community. Danielys describes herself as determined, open-minded, and ambitious. Through the Club’s mentorship and academic support, she has developed strong leadership skills and a commitment to personal growth. She currently serves as Secretary of Keystone and is an active member of Lynn Lady Leaders, where she has learned the importance of service, teamwork, and empowering others.

Passionate about staying involved, Danielys enjoys playing softball and volleyball and participating in Club activities. One of her favorite memories was traveling to Chicago for the National Keystone Conference, where she connected with peers from across the country. Inspired by her experiences, Danielys plans to attend college and study animal biosciences. She believes the Club is a safe space where young people are encouraged, supported, and reminded that they matter—a message she hopes to continue sharing as a leader and role model for others.
