Our Philosophy

To provide an environment where every child can grow physically, socially, and emotionally through a wide variety of age-appropriate planned activities and curricula, while still making time to play!

Highly-Trained & Certified Staff

The Kids Club is a school-age program licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) for children 5 – 13 years of age. We have a highly-trained staff of professionals all certified in CPR & First Aid. This exciting program provides children with the tools to meet their ever-growing needs in a fun but educational way.

The facility includes 3 large classrooms, a full-size gym, and a swimming pool. A nutritious snack is provided each day. We offer a variety of cheese, crackers, fruit, cookies, and juice. Activities include: Homework Help, Arts & Crafts, Science & Cooking, Reading, Physical Education, Dance, Computer Games, Outdoor Play, Music & Movement, Creative Thinking, Swimming, Board Games, and Free Play.

  • Orientation

All new parents/guardians are required to attend an orientation before your child is able to attend the program.  You must call in advance to make an appointment with either the Director or the Assistant Director for an orientation time.

  • Inclement Weather

The Club/Kids Club Program may be closed or may close early for the safety of our staff and members due to inclement weather.  If you are unsure, please call to confirm that the program is open before dropping your child off.  If the Lynn Public Schools are cancelled, the Club/Kids Club Program will be closed.

  • Transportation

After school transportation is provided by the Lynn Public School Transportation Department from all Lynn public elementary schools.  In order to transport your child to the Boys & Girls Club from the elementary schools you must complete the transportation application, the Lynn School Department will then approve the request on a space-available basis, and you will be contacted by our office with your start date.

  • Health Policy

If your child is not well enough to attend school due to an illness or contagious symptoms, they must not attend the Program.  It is expected that if a child becomes sick at the program, the parent or guardian will make arrangements to have the child picked up.

  • Late Pick-Ups

Each family is given ONE 10 – minute grace period for late pick-ups.  On the second occurrence, there will be a charge of $10.00 per child for the first ten minutes and $1.00 per minute per child for each additional minute they are late being picked up. Children will not be admitted to the program until the late fee is paid.

  • Phone Policies

Phones are available for emergency calls only.  If you need to contact a child, the staff will make every effort to convey a message to them.
