Welcome to our Kids Club!

The Kids Club is an OST “Out of school time” program licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) for children ages 5 – 13 years of age. Within this program, children are enrolled year round. The Kids Club offers afterschool care as well as a full day summer program. We have a trained staff of professionals who have all been through a thorough background screening including fingerprinting.  All staff are certified in CPR/First Aid, 51A training, Heads-Up concussion training, Water safety training, as well as on going professional development in various areas. 

Within our program, we provide our members with the tools to meet their ever-growing needs in the 21st century. Our newly renovated program space offers a variety of fun and educational activities that include Homework Help, Arts & Crafts, Science & Cooking, Reading, Physical Education, Dance, Computer Games, Outdoor Play, Music & Movement, Creative Thinking, Swimming, Board Games, and Free Play.

We have 3 large classrooms, a full-size gym, dance studio, and a STEM lab with over 50 laptops and tablets for our members to utilize for homework and gaming purposes. In addition, a daily nutritious snack is provided for all our of members so no child goes hungry during the afterschool hours. The Boys & Girls Club of Lynn stands by its philosophy to provide an environment where every member can grow physically, socially, and emotionally through a wide variety of age-appropriate planned activities and curriculum while still making time for play!


All new parents/guardians are required to attend an orientation before your child is able to attend the program. You must call in advance to make an appointment with either the Director or the Assistant Director for an orientation time.


After school transportation is provided by the Lynn Public School Transportation Department from all Lynn public elementary schools. In order to transport your child to the Boys & Girls Club from the elementary schools you must complete the transportation application, the Lynn School Department will then approve the request on a space-available basis, and you will be contacted by our office with your start date.

Inclement Weather

The Club/Kids Club Program may be closed or may close early for the safety of our staff and members due to inclement weather. If you are unsure, please call to confirm that the program is open before dropping your child off. If the Lynn Public Schools are cancelled, the Club/Kids Club Program will be closed.

Health Policy

If your child is not well enough to attend school due to an illness or contagious symptoms, they must not attend the Program. It is expected that if a child becomes sick at the program, the parent or guardian will make arrangements to have the child picked up.

Late Pick-Ups

Each family is given ONE 10 – minute grace period for late pick-ups. On the second occurrence, there will be a charge of $10.00 per child for the first ten minutes and $1.00 per minute per child for each additional minute they are late being picked up. Children will not be admitted to the program until the late fee is paid.

Phone Policies

Phones are available for emergency calls only. If you need to contact a child, the staff will make every effort to convey a message to them.
