Inclement Weather:

The Club may be closed or may close early for the safety of our staff and members due to inclement weather. If you are unsure, please call to confirm that the Club is open before dropping your child off.  If the Lynn Public School classes are cancelled, the Club will also be closed.

Transportation:

After school transportation is provided by the Lynn Public School Transportation Department from the following schools:  Aborn, Brickett, Callahan, Connery, Harrington, Hood, Ingalls, Lincoln-Thomson, Lynn Woods, North Shore Christian, Sewell-Anderson, Shoemaker and Sission.  In order to transport your child to the Boys & Girls Club from the following list of elementary schools you must fill out an application at the Club; the Lynn School Department will then approve the request on a space available basis.  Note: A new transportation application must be submitted each year prior to the beginning of the new school year.

Club Policies:

Open Door Policy:

The Boys & Girls Club operates as an "Open Door" program. Members are allowed to enter the building during regular Club hours. Once a member leaves the building, they may not re-enter. The Club is not responsible for members who leave the facility.  Members will not be allowed to use the phone.

Health Policy:

If your child is not well enough to attend school due to an illness or contagious symptoms, they must not attend the club. It is expected that if a child becomes sick at the Club, the parent or guardian will make arrangements to have the child picked up.

Late Pick-Ups:

Each family is given one 10-minute grace period for late pick-ups. On the second occurrence, there will be a charge of $10.00 per child. Children will not be admitted to the Club until late fee is paid.

Phone Policies:

The Club's phone is available for emergency calls only. If you need to contact a child, the Club staff will make an effort to convey a message to them.  Members can only be paged and brought to the phone for emergencies.
