Club Hours After School Program: September- June Ages 8 – 12 Monday-Friday 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Cost: $40.00 Per Year
Evening Program:
November - April
Ages 13 – 18 Monday-Friday 2:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. Cost: $10.00 Per Year Memberships expire a year from the date you first received them. Therefore, they must be renewed annually. Orientation: All new members 8 to 12 years of age are required to attend an orientation before they are able to attend the club. Parents/Guardian must accompany children to the orientation so they both can become familiar with our programs and areas. Orientations are held September-May on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. You must call in advance to make an appointment. Schedule Closings: Labor Day Columbus Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving Day & Day after Christmas Week New Year's Day Martin Luther King Day Presidents Day Good Friday Patriots Day Memorial Day July 4 The Club operates when school is in session. Any closings will be posted on the doors to the Club. We will make an effort to send flyers home to notify the parents. Inclement Weather: The Club may be closed or may close early for the safety of our staff and members due to inclement weather. If you are unsure, please call to confirm that the Club is open before dropping your child off. If the Transportation: After school transportation is provided by the Lynn Public School Transportation Department from the following schools: Aborn, Brickett, Callahan, Connery, Harrington, Hood, Ingalls, Lincoln-Thomson, Lynn Woods, North Shore Christian, Sewell-Anderson, Shoemaker and Sission. In order to transport your child to the Boys & Girls Club from the following list of elementary schools you must fill out an application at the Club; the Lynn School Department will then approve the request on a space available basis. Note: A new transportation application must be submitted each year prior to the beginning of the new school year. Club Policies: Open Door Policy:
Health Policy: If your child is not well enough to attend school due to an illness or contagious symptoms, they must not attend the club. It is expected that if a child becomes sick at the Club, the parent or guardian will make arrangements to have the child picked up. Late Pick-Ups: Each family is given one 10-minute grace period for late pick-ups. On the second occurrence, there will be a charge of $10.00 per child. Children will not be admitted to the Club until late fee is paid. Phone Policies: The Club's phone is available for emergency calls only. If you need to contact a child, the Club staff will make an effort to convey a message to them. Members can only be paged and brought to the phone for emergencies.
